Real estate photography is a very interesting field in and of itself. You have a subject that does not move with interior pictures. Exterior or landscape pictures do have some movement with trees and bushes being subject to the wind and weather. Indoor lighting needs to showcase the room and highlight the favorable characteristics of the living area.

As of Nov 2011 our graphic artist got married and moved, So we can not offer HDR interior pictures at this time.

Architectural photography is subject to the lighting conditions of the outside weather. The best time to take interior pictures is when the inside and outside light coming in through the windows is about equal. Palm Beach Island has some of the most exquisite real estate to photograph in the world with quite a variety of styles and themes.

Many of the mansions are on the waterfront and have direct beach access. This makes for some spectacular views in the morning as one wakes up to the sun rising over the horizon. We are the on the wrong side of the coast for stunning sunsets. We will travel to most any where in the South Florida area near West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County. We can travel from Boca Raton to Jupiter, Fl. 

Realtors and real estate brokers make use of professional photographers for luxury high end mansions and homes. The elite clientele that would sell and purchase these luxurious homes demand the most exacting pictures that are pleasing to the eyes and attention to detail. Banks can make use of services of a photographer for houses that they own due to foreclosure or repossession.

Interior photography: For inside the house you often need extra lighting with modeling lights brought in from the outside by the photographer. The lighting must look natural and one wants to showcase the property in its natural setting as one would see it as if living there. There is a period of time when the sun is low in the sky and is getting ready to set when the inside and outside lighting conditions are about the same equally. This is the best time for taking interior pictures inside in the house. One can overcome this obstacle with the use of HDR photography post processing and with photoshop. I prefer natural looking images to the artsy surreal pictures often featured in magazines. One does not want to create a false images that will let down the buyers unrealistic expectations when they see the property.

Exterior landscape photography:   The best time to take these pictures is often times right around twilight when the exterior house lights are on and the sky is still just a shade of blue. When a property is on the water you can showcase the image of the home as a reflection on the water. This photographic technique works quite well with houses on the Intracoastal Waterway as well as those on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean.

When the sun is set up high in the sky also works quite well for lighting up the landscaping of the outside of any building.  You should have manicured lawns with well pruned trees and shrubbery. A landscape company should be hired to make sure the landscaping is up to the utmost high standards to showcase the property for the photography session. If one is going to put these pictures or digital images in a real estate brochure, website or magazine the place needs to look immaculate.
